Pay per post is a way of earning cash and a lot of bloggers and writers have taken it up to showcase their writing abilities. Pay per post is also a popular method in which website owners can make their sites look alive. Pay per post is probably one of the easiest way in which bloggers can earn money with their blogs. The site Pay Per Post is the most prominent and well known get paid to blog site.

At PayPerPost, bloggers are offered cash to write about products and services. They offer an easy way for just about anyone to earn money blogging, by reviewing websites and getting paid for it. Recently PayPerPost has taken a lot of heat from the blogosphere, but now they are requiring a disclosure, which is a good thing.

When people pay others for reviews or posts, some people believe this is a disservice to the public at large. Just remember, next time you read an ‘expert’ article do not think of them as posts, because not all bloggers will announce they are being compensated for their posts. In which case, aren’t we really talking about a new form of content focused advertising. Think of them as possible commercial breaks.

Now we have another level of posts to lookout for before finding real content. I think that in the short term blogs may increase their readership with pay per post content, but the blogs that will stick around and grow in the long term are the ones that produce quality content.

Pay per post is not a new thing. Pay Per Post has been around for a while and is a pretty cool program that enables bloggers to earn cash by writing articles. Writing reviews for Pay Per Post is easy, all you have to do is meet a minimum word count and add a single link to the site or product you are reviewing. When compared to other modes of making money online, pay per post is a good way for writers to make money.

Choosing The Right Blog Domain Name

Loading ... Loading ...

Domain Name

Choosing your domain name is critical! There are a number of important concepts to chew over. Unfortunately, some of these concepts are not mutually compatible. So there are some big decisions to be made.

First ask yourself what are trying to achieve with the Domain name. Are you trying to make the name memorable? What we are getting at here is repeat business and easy recommendation. If the name is memorable, then the next time a visitor wants to visit your site, they can recall the domain name easily. If they want to pass on your site onto a friend they can easily remember the site. So which is easier to remember “Google.com” or “thegreatestsearchengineintheworld.com”? Get the point! Short names tend to be more memorable - but here’s the rub - not many short names are available as domain names. Our advice is to stick with the top TLDs - namely, in our view, .com, .net, .org (if there are no legal issues), .info and possibly .tv (if your site is entertainment, media) and your country domain extension (so for the UK: .co.uk). Of course, this restricts the choice of domain names.

Memorable or descriptive?

Although Google, Amazon, Delicious, etc are not particularly descriptive of the service or product that they offer, they are certainly memorable! However, an alternative approach is to go with the descriptive domain name - such as WeddingGifts.com . It is obvious what this site is about and the name is relatively easy to remember. However, imagine, a few months down the line an old visitor to your site might want to return. Was it WeddingGift.com or WeddingGifts.com or WeddingPresents.com etc? You can see the problem.

Search Engine Perspective

Do the keywords in the domain name influence Google? In our experience it is a definitive YES. We 100% believe this is an excellent reason to go down the descriptive route for domain names. So say you are selling Chateaux Property - then the keywords “chateaux” and “property” are going to be the phrases that browsers will be typing into Google. Check on sites such as Wordtracker.com and nichebot.com for highly searched phrases for your “market”. These will give you a clue for potential domain names. So the best domain name, in our example, will be www.chateauxproperty.com. Note there are no hyphens and we are using the .com TLD. It will be much easier to get top rankings on “chateaux property” with this domain name. Check it out!

Existing Domains

What other hints? Another key factor is the age of domain. Older domains are ranked better on Google. So first stop should be a site like GoDaddy.com and check out expiring names. Other factors to look at when checking through expired domain lists are any existing Google PR and inbound links from other sites. Google PR is measured on a scale 0 to 10. 10 being best! Rankings of 3 or 4 are great as a starting point and if they have lots of inbound links from other sites - that is great! CheckPageRanking.com will help you evaluate the domain.

Buying a Domain name

If you are being serious about your business, then buy the domain name for 10 years not the shortest term (1 year). Why? If YOU are serious then Google will also believe you are serious. Google will give you browny points in the rankings! Also, seriously consider buying combos - such as chateaux-property.com, chateauxproperty.co.uk, etc and point them with permanent re-directs to the main site. You will pick up more type-in traffic and stop cometitors trying to piggy back on your success.

Find Creative Ideas For Your Blog

Posted by Blog From Home
1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (1 votes, average: 3 out of 5)
Loading ... Loading ...

Why do bloggers get overwhelmed when they have to think of original ideas for their blogs? Following a few guidelines can make the task seem less intimidating. It is important to create interesting ideas for your blogs that will catch your readers’ attention and turn them into regular readers. If you think about the last blog or article you read it was because it caught your interest and you wanted to know more. That is the key to blogging and imaginative writing in general. Every good writer has the ability to make the reader want to come back for more. Even if you don’t consider yourself a good writer you too have the ability to think up creative ideas for your blogs. It is not as difficult as it seems. If you take the time and follow a few good tips, your imagination will start flowing and the ideas will head to your blog. Blogging is fun and doesn’t have to be nerve-racking.

Does your blog have a special theme? If not, there are many different ways to generate ideas for blogs. Online research of interesting blog sites and the latest news on a specific topic are great ways to generate creative and unique ideas. Another very effective way to get ideas is to flip through magazines and newspapers and clip topics that interest you. Keep the clippings in a folder and whenever you run out of ideas all you have to do is pull an article from your handy folder. This instantly gives you an idea for a blog title and content. For instance, if the clipped article was about dog training you could write a blog called “tips on how to stop dog barking.” Or just use the cut-out article to write a blog about your personal experience with dogs and blog about the reasons you like or dislike them. Another good thing about using magazine articles as a source for blog ideas is that it does not matter how old the article is, since you are not going to copy the article. You are using its content to get your own blog idea started. Another great way to find ideas is through brainstorming. Just grab a piece of paper and write down a theme. Think of something that relates to that theme, write it down, and keep repeating the process until you have a list of ideas that you can link to one another. You can also simply watch a few minutes of TV and then blog about what you viewed.

Tips on how to find creative ideas for blogs:

. online research of latest news

. flip through magazines and newspaper

. search online for interesting blogs and forums

. brainstorming

. watch tv and blog about what you viewed

Top 2 Ways To Brainstorm For Blogging

Posted by Blog From Home
1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (1 votes, average: 3 out of 5)
Loading ... Loading ...

In this article I am going to illuminate a few quick and easy ways you can get ideas for your blog in a hurry, and how to turn these ideas into cold hard cash quick! Everyone who walks down the perilous path of the pen (or the pixel!) knows that before too long, no matter how much passion you bring to the table, the ideas start to go south…and STALE. This is unfortunately the spot that most blogs (and the bloggers behind them) intersect with frustration and failure in a major league way. So let’s take a quick look at what the big league (and big buck) blogs do, to augment their articles and amp UP their productivity with minimal time, energy and effort invested. Read on!

Find Em’ and Flock Em!

This is my favorite approach to building blogs in a new niche and doing it in rapid fire turn around time. Flock is a FREE browser that has some build tools that make most hardcore bloggers drool with delight. Very simply, you can take 30 minutes a day and find GREAT content, resources and information around the web, RIGHT click on the story and bring up the Flock blog post editor….with one simple stroke of your mouse finger, you can send that content RIGHT up to your OWN site (once you take 2 minutes to configure your post preferences) and have a new news story showing “live at 5″ at the tip top of the totem pole that is your own domain. A few quick best practices are these: Simply add an opening paragraph of commentary to each story you use this way, as it will add “uniqueness” to the content you are collecting, plus of course it adds your own spin, which is important to stand out from the pack. ( and the original post) I can literally do 20 of these before lunch, and can get it all done while watching Flava of Love Season 3 re-runs, my favorite all time TV show.

Clip it and Stick it!

Clip-marks is even EASIER to use than Flock, and does many of the same things in other unique ways. Again, ( and we can do this easily while watching Days of our Lives) we are simply firing up our favorite RSS reader, finding good content relevant to our niche ( or just pulling from our subscriptions) and “clipping” our content to the native tool by highlighting it, and hitting CLIP! You can then paste this either into your account, or in a similar style editor as before, then posting it quickly and easily to the websites of our choice.

Both of these great tools take the problem of attribution and formatting out of your hands as well - giving the original source of the content a nice big thank you in the form of a clear link back, making other publishers in your niche appreciative of your efforts (as you are giving them a valuable link, and a plug) all while building your own big buck blog in the process. Don’t be surprised to see YOUR content rank VERY highly in the search results real quickly using these free and almost effortlessly effective ways of collecting content. I love them both and am betting you will too.

And STOP Looking for the Magical Solution Out “There”.

Focus on the magic within. You have it, I know you do. We ALL do. The one certitude online is this: Content is king. And creativity is coveted. Show you have lots of both in areas that you care most about, and people will beat down your door

Take Your Blog To New Heights

Posted by Blog From Home

Loading ... Loading ...

If you already have your own blog, or are thinking of setting one up, you’ve undoubtedly read one or more of the beginner’s guides to blogging that frequent the Internet. Blog often and provide unique, fresh, entertaining, accurate, and relevant information. That’s the content of virtually all of those articles, but this information is only going to get you so far.

The information they provide will help you drive traffic to your blog, as long as you stick at it, and some of the more in depth articles may even give you a basic shove in the right gold paved direction. However, there will come a time when you’re ready to take your blog to the next level.

Wordpress And Why We Believe It’s Essential For A Successful Blog

First off, I feel this has to be said - if you’re not using Wordpress then it’s highly likely that you’re missing out. Wordpress has the biggest collection of plugins, themes, and other features of any blogging platform and, of course, it’s free. Rather than spend money on using another blogging platform, save your dollars to pay for a custom design or get help with marketing.

What Plugins Do For You

Plugins represent the greatest time saving addition to your blog, as well as the greatest opportunity to add increased features and functions that will help you take your blog to the next level. To really succeed in blogging for money, you need to start treating your blog like any website owner treats their website. This means you have to look at it like a business.

A Small Selection Of Top Notch Plugins

Wordpress plugins offer a huge range of different functions and features that you couldn’t otherwise obtain. We’ve listed a few of what we believe to be the more important here but there are many others:

Google Sitemaps - The Google Sitemaps plugin automatically creates an XML sitemap, which can be submitted to many of the major search engines. It will also automatically inform them (ping) when you add any new posts or pages to your blog.

Firestats - There are several in-depth stat packages available as plugins but our personal favorite is the Firestats package. It is crucial that you track and act on the stats for your website. Knowing how your readers found your site can help you with promotion and improve your profit levels by giving you a clearer picture of exactly what your visitors are looking for. It’s also good to know the topics that are working out and those that aren’t.

Social Bookmarking - The social bookmarking plugin adds the links to the bottom of your posts that lets readers quickly and conveniently bookmark a post with their preferred social bookmarking site. Some of these sites can help you generate traffic and even improve your search ranking.

All In One SEO - The All In One SEO plugin enables you to add a title, description, and keywords to each of your posts. These can help improve search engine results and make your posts appear cleaner in the search results. It can also be used to ensure that visitors are highly targeted.

Related Entries - It’s important to get traffic flowing around your posts because the more of your site a person views, the more likely they will be to click affiliate links or Adsense links. If your blog is entirely related to your business, they will be more likely to buy your products or pay for your services.

Adsense Deluxe - Don’t let the name fool you. Adsense Deluxe provides a fast and efficient method of adding Adsense code to any post or page, with just a single tag, but it also does the same for Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) ads.

Comment Subscription - The big benefit of a blog is that you can often persuade interested visitors to keep returning to your corner of the net. The comment subscription plug in further enables them to sign up and be notified of any responses to comments they have added.

Monetizing Your Blog

If you want to make money from your blog and you have a reasonable amount of traffic then the methods of advertising you use will quickly become an important topic to you. There are a lot of different ways to monetize a blog, and it would be damaging of me to try and tell you exactly what method will work without knowing at least a little about your blog. However, there are some things we will willingly share.

Don’t Sell Out - There’s a temptation for those with more mature blogs to write a post and review an item, website, or service and get paid for doing so. Our opinion on this can be summed up in pretty much one word or two; “don’t” or “do not”. You might think that you can write a genuinely informative piece and be completely open and honest without your readers ever realizing what you are doing but it is highly unlikely that this is the case.

Sponsorship - Sponsored advertising is a great way to monetize some blogs. Generally speaking (and there are exceptions), the more specific the topic of a blog, the more likely this will prove to be a viable advertising solution and it may be easier to bag sponsored ads than you think. And, because this is Wordpress, there are plugins that help you do it too (AdServe is a good one).

Affiliate Data Feeds - Most affiliate networks have some form of data feed or affiliate feed. If you intend to promote affiliate programs then make the most of these, but ensure that the feed fits with your site. Don’t just slap up a bit of code and expect it to miraculously turn your hobby blog into a multi-million dollar, award winning blog because it takes careful planning, ad placement optimization, and some trial and error to get the best results. Guess what? There are numerous plugins to use with the Amazon affiliate program and other programs so make the most of them.

Blog Networks

The final point we’re going to cover in this, now extensive, article is whether or not you should join a blog network. A blog network is, unsurprisingly, a network of blogs. The overall aim and the method that connects the blogs differs with each network. Some may be connected by having different subdomains on the same main domain. Others may simply use the same banner. Similarly, some networks are established to bring profit to bloggers and (understandably) to the network owner. Other networks want nothing more than to promote a near state of hippie euphoria over one particular topic.

To Join Or Not To Join

It seems to have become a habit but we can’t honestly tell you whether you should definitely join, or definitely not join, a blogging network. They work out for some by providing traffic, improving search rankings, and even helping out with the general blogging process. However, other blogs would fare better on their own, especially the more popular ones. Similarly, some networks are so powerful that they can generate thousands of hits to a blog instantly before you even submit a post, while your blog may carry a smaller network if you have good traffic levels.

The reason that a lot of bloggers do join a network is so that they can network with other bloggers. It provides a sense of belonging and can help develop blogging relationships. If you get invited or accepted into a particularly large network then you should consider trying it because it really can pay dividends but be warned that the large networks have pretty stringent guidelines that you must adhere to in order to be accepted.

What’s Next For Your Blog?

This article covers some of the blogging factors that you need to look at when you consider taking your blog to the next level. Simply posting good content will often help you build traffic, but that’s really all it will do. You need to monetize that traffic, and where possible, keep it returning over and over again. You should also employ some methods of further building your traffic, other than posting good posts.

Understanding How Blog Marketing Works

In order to fully grasp the magnitude of the wonders a blog can do for you, the blogger, it is essential to understand what you have in your hands. Therefore, it is as important to get a better idea of what your blog can do for an advertiser. To do so, you need to make sure you know the differences between terms marketing and advertising.

Marketing is a societal process which discerns or, in other words, distinguishes consumers’ wants. Once those needs and wants are distinguished, marketing focuses on a particular product or service to fulfill those wants, attempting to mold the consumers toward the products or services offered.

Marketing is a process, a societal process. Advertising is just one part of the marketing process. You can buy advertising on television, radio, a website but that will not necessarily mean that it will be effective. What will be more effective than advertising is building a community around your service or product. So, advertising is effective when it is combined with an interactive process of community building. That is why advertising on a blog can be more effective that advertising on some other kind of website or even TV show for that matter. Advertising on TV might get you more sales, depending on the reach, however it might not be as effective in creating a community around that product. When advertising on a blog make sure you do so as a part from a marketing campaign. Provide an incentive to the blogger to write a post about your product or website. A combination of both could be highly beneficial for any internet marketer. There is a wide range of blogs to choose from, small as well as bigger, older and more established ones. There are a few reasons why blogs can be useful in the marketing process. They allow for extremely targeted marketing, they are interactive and they are great for building backlinks. Bloggers ought to understand these things when pursuing monetization. Only when you get it, you will be able to maximize your earning potential and make money blogging.

Or if you are into Web 2.0, and a fan of social networking, you can still make money blogging with Entrecard.

Once you start getting some visitors you can start making money right away. You can make money blogging with paid reviews.

Top Tips On How Beginners Can Blog For Money

Earning from a blog can be achieved through advertising revenue from ads you place there, or through affiliate commissions made from sales of products you promote.

Actually creating a blog can be done in a flash with services like Blogger from Google, or you can set up a blog on your own with applications like Wordpress. With software like this, and other similar applications, you can set up a blog in minutes. Setting up your own blog site has it’s advantages, chief of which is that you have full control over it.

Once a blog is setup, you then need to get people to see it. Without visitors, you can’t make money. Before you even think about creating the blog, you should carry out topic or keyword research. It helps to have your blog on the first page of the search engines. One way to achieve this is to pick topics that have a good amount of searches and relatively few competitors. There are many tools that will help you do this.

One such tool which I like to use is the Google Adwords Keyword Suggestion tool. This will tell you the volume of monthly searches done for your chosen keyword or topic and will even suggest other topics for you to consider. It’s advantageous to pick topics that you either already know about, or can see yourself getting interested in, as it’s much more fun to write about such topics.

Once you’ve found an interesting keyword that has a decent amount of searches, just type it into Google with quotes around it, eg: “britney spears”, and see how many competitors exist. If there are less than 5,000 then that is a topic that you stand a good chance of getting to the first page of Google’s results with.

If all this sounds a bit too much like hard work, then there are other tools that will speed up the task for you. If you’d prefer the convenience that the other tools provide, you must double check that the keywords they suggest actually get searched. (The best way to do this is run a Google Adwords campaign with those keywords and see how many impressions they get. The number of impressions is a good indicator of how many searches are done).

From experience, there are thousands of topics that have less than 5,000 competitors in Google’s search results. Finding them can be quite enjoyable. A bit like panning for gold. When you find such gems, it is quite feasible to set up a blog on that topic, (with free software), and get traffic and earnings from it in a very short space of time.

So, you want to know how to start a blog and earn money while you work at home. The good news is that you don’t have to know much, at all, about the blogging industry to cash in on the huge profit potential that a blog can create.

You probably have a million thoughts and ideas racing through your mind about how to make extra money. You can forget most of them, because none of them are easier that earning money from your blog. It’s easy, simple for newcomers and it will continue to grow, even while you sleep. Here are some very simple tips and tools that will get you on the instant path to making blog money.

How To Start a Blog -

Creating a blog income, or just starting a blog in general, is extremely fast and easy. The only blog websites that you really need to know about are WordPress and Blogger. Both of these blogging websites are abosultely loved by Google. They come up very high on search engine results, which you will need to drive quality traffic to your blog. You don’t have to know anything about Graphic Design or Programming to create your own blog. Both of these blog sites make it very easy for you to start your blog. It’s almost as simple as picking a blog template and typing away.

Once you have picked out your blog site, you will want to pick a name for your blog. Do yourself a huge favor and use Google’s keyword tool to pull up dozens and dozens of keywords that people are searching for. For instance: You are starting a blog on Fantasy Football. Use those two keywords in Google’s keyword tool to see a huge list of other common keywords that people are using to search for related topics.

When choosing the subject of your blog, you will want to pick a topic that you are pretty passionate about, especially if you are new to blogging. The reason you want to pick a subject that you are passionate about is because thoughts and ideas will flow to you much more easily. Once you are an expert at blogging, which can be done in a matter of a week if you want, you can then branch out into other subject that you think are profitable. If you sound like an expert to your readers, they will want to come back to your blog on a consistent basis, which you will need in order to make the big bucks. This is what you ultimately want, right? Of course you do.

Writing can be very fun, but it can also be a frustrating chore if you don’t know how to do it. Don’t worry, though, because this can be easily fixed. The easiest way to get over this hump is to study what the experts are doing. Look at their writing style. Peek at how they come across in their blog posts. Do they come off like a best friend? Do they type with excitement? Basically, you will want to copy their style until you develop your own. This is a foolproof and easy way to make you blog money skyrocket in no time.

The easiest way to make fast blog money is by using Google Adsense on your blog. The more competitive the market, the more money you will receive when people click on those ads. As your readers start to stack up, your blog income will keep climbing. The next step in creating a blog income has to do with advertising products on your blog. This is done by writing reviews about products or services, or telling people that a certain product is a great tool to get started on the subject you are blogging about. One thing to you will need to do is actually try to product or service out first. This will do two things. First, it will make your product review sound like it is coming from a true expert. Secondly, it will give your readers incentive to always come back to your blog, because you are showing them exactly how to do what they want to do and where to get it. If your product review is truthful, then you will gain a lot of readers trust for a very long time, increasing your blog income at the same time. That is your ultimate goal, right?

None of these techniques are rocket science, but they are very crucial to you making blog money. If you are a newcomer or even a seasoned blogger who hasn’t yet cashed in on their blog, now is the time to creat the blog money that will give your wallet the cash it needs, fast.

First step: you need to pick a Niche market. What is a Niche market you may ask? It is a topic that is more focused, and does not take the general aspect of a topic. You want to pick something that is out there, but is focused so you can get up there in search engines and build traffic to your site.

This site taylors to Mesothelioma, a rare disease caused by Asbestos, and the site goes in depth about the Niche Market of “Peritoneal Mesothelioma”. Asbestos would be more of a General Blog without Niche marketing, while drilling down to “Peritoneal Mesothelioma” is a niche market.

Another example of a blog that is not Niche Marketing is the Domain Names and Web Design Info blog at http://domainnamesatretail.blogspot.com. This blog is maintained in a general sense that it discusses topics from Web Design, Web Hosting and Domain Names to Money Making strategies. It is not focused to one single topic.

Once you have picked your Niche market, you have to find out if it pays well through advertising, and has actual advertisers willing to pay you to advertise the site!

The Overture bidding tool will tell you just that! Go to: http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/

Type in your niche market term, and it will tell you how much people on overture are willing to pay for each term. If it pays well, and is worth your while, then that will be your niche market you want to pursue.

Now you need to find the keywords you want to target and rank high for in Google. The suggestion tool located at will help you find just that: http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

Type in a keyword and it will show you what people search for and how many times per day. Pick a keyword that has a good daily search, but does not have too high of a number. This will allow you to have a fighting chance to cracking the top position for this search term. For example you may want something with about 100 searches per day.

Once you pick one, go to http://www.google.com, and search for that term and see how many results show up. If you have less than 1 million results, then that is ideal. Now take a look at the current #1 spot. See their page rank and how many links they have. If you think you can outrank them, then you are good to go. Target that keyword with your Niche market, and your site research is done.

Once you have the research complete, you set up a blog or web site.

To Set up a blog, go to one that I use Blogger at http://www.blogger.com. Set up your blog and begin posting in no time. This is a good and quick setup for getting your site started and getting searched by Google. However, your own site with its own domain name and hosting, tends to come up higher in search rankings. Also, having your own unique Blog Design as opposed to using a Blogger template, will help your site stand out from the rest. Emenki Web Solutions can provide you with such a custom template.

To set up your web site, purchase a domain name and web hosting. Download the Web Site Startup Handbook Ebook to learn more at http://www.domainsatretail.com/DomainsAtRetail.pdf. Then get free Blogging software and begin to run your site. Search on http://www.hotscripts.com to find Blogging software that you can use for Free.

Run your said Blog for about two weeks with at least 1-2 posts per day to develop enough content for search engines to consider placing you site in its rankings and for you to build traffic.

Once you have done this, set your site up for Google Adsense (http://adsense.google.com). Remember to follow the Google Adsense Terms of Service.

Once your site is approved for Google Adsense, place the AdSense code and begin to market your site through SEO software like Traffic Blazer and One way Link Building Strategies!

Read up on SEO techniques to get your site to the top! Once you are there, you will generate traffic and if you have enough click through on your ads, you will make money!

Thanks for coming out and learning how to become an AdSense money maker!
